Hi! My name is Megan Aguirre and I am excited to be an Inclusion teacher this year! This is my 4th year being an inclusion teacher, but it’s my 15th year teaching here at MJE. My husband Eduardo and I have three kids. Colson who is here at Jara in 1st grade and twin girls who turned two over the summer. One of my favorite things about teaching is when kids realize they really can accomplish their goals, when maybe just a short time ago they did not believe in themselves. After they realize they CAN do it, their joy and enthusiasm for learning is so contagious!  I am excited for this school year and can’t wait to get started!

Dyslexia Teacher

I love teaching our young friends, and I am excited about this school year. I have taught 1st, 2nd, and 4th grade. I currently teach students with Dyslexia and it is my favorite. That is because I love being able to teach reading, a live long and important skill.  I am blessed with three wonderful sons and a great husband. I graduated from the University of North Texas with a bachelor's degree and attended Texas Wesleyan for my master's degree. I look forward to this fantastic new school experience and working with our wonderful students here at Manuel Jara.

This is my 4th year teaching at Manuel Jara. I graduated from The University of Texas at Arlington with a bachelors degree in Kinesiology. I have two children that will be starting second grade here at Manuel Jara!  I believe that my job as a teacher is to help all students grow into the best version of themselves.

I have been serving as a teacher since 2005. I have taught all grade levels ranging from elementary to high school. Also different programs from regular, dual language and special education. When I am not teaching, I love to spend time with her family. I have a great supportive husband and 4 beautiful children. I believe all things are possible if you dare to dream.

Bilingual Dyslexia Teacher

I have over 15 years of experience in grades KG to middle school. I am a Dyslexia Teacher at Manuel Jara.  Dyslexia is a specific learning disability that is neurobiological in origin. It is characterized by a difficulty learning to read, write or spell despite conventional instruction. As a dyslexia teacher, my goal is to achieve early identification of students with dyslexia and to provide immediate intervention. My own personal goal is to make a difference in every child I meet.  I look forward to another productive year at MJE!  If you need assistance, feel free to contact me at school.
