I am so happy to be a 1st Grade teacher. I completed my degree at Texas Wesleyan University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, specializing in Reading. This is my 39th year teaching- all here at MJE! In my spare time, I love sharing time with my family, reading, being outdoors and staying active.

Hello! My name is Mrs Muñoz and I am a First Grade Teacher at Manuel Jara Elementary School. This is my 11th year in teaching, but my first time teaching first grade! I am married to Mr. Muñoz and we have a beautiful puppy named Waffles. I am looking forward to spending the year with you!

My name is Mariana Rea-Alba and I will be your child’s first grade teacher. I graduated with my Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Texas Women’s University in Denton, Texas. I have taugt 21 years at Manuel Jara Elementary. In my spare time, I love being with my family and watching movies.
