I am so happy to be a 1st Grade teacher. I completed my degree at Texas Wesleyan University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, specializing in Reading. This is my 38th year teaching- all here at MJE! In my spare time, I love sharing time with my family, reading, being outdoors and staying active.

Hello! My name is Mia Low and I am excited to be your child’s First Grade Teacher. This is my sixth year teaching at Manuel Jara. Previously, I taught at Lake Worth ISD. I have one son - Jason who attends TCC. I look forward to a great year of learning and growing.

My name is Mariana Rea-Alba and I will be your child’s first grade teacher. I graduated with my Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Texas Women’s University in Denton, Texas. I have taugt 20 years at Manuel Jara Elementary. In my spare time, I love being with my family and watching movies.

My name is Viviana Soliz, I am thrilled to be your child’s First grade teacher! I received my Master’s Degree from Grand Canyon University. This will be my 19th year teaching in various grade levels and my fourth year at MJE. I am looking forward to an amazing school year!
