Arrival / Dismissal Procedures

Manuel Jara is located on the Northside of Fort Worth and we have two entrances:

Arrival-

Instruction starts at 7:50am

Students cannot be dropped off at school before 7:30am. There is no staff on duty until 7:30am. 

If your child plans on eating breakfast please arrive at 7:30am.  Our school day begins at 7:50am.  Students need time to go through the breakfast line, eat and clean up. 

 

Dismissal- 

Dismissal is at 3:20pm

• RISE, Pre-K, Kindergarten and 1st Grade dismisses in the front.
• 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade dismisses in the back.

Please have your Authorized Pick-up Card Ready.  Otherwise, you will have to wait until after dismissal is over to go to the office and present a valid ID to pick-up any student.

On rainy days we may have indoor dismissal which means students are picked up in their homeroom classroom.  No student will be released with out an Authorized Pick-up Card.

If you arrive after 3:30pm, you need to come to the front office to pick up your child.
